The village, built around the 3rd century BC, retains the typical features of the ‘natural city’: the Church of Sant’Antonio (1513) set against the Baronial Palace of the Sifola di Trani family (14th century), the narrow streets, the houses leaning against each other as if to support each other, the cloister of the Franciscan Convent frescoed in 1743, the green valley of the Agri river and the Murge di Sant’Oronzo which are the gates of the Park, the orientalist paintings of Vincenzo Marinelli and much more to discover.
